About her:
Professor Roberts works in the department of Archaeology in Durham university and is a fellow of the British National Academy. She mainly studies human osteoarchaeology and paleopathology, and is a world-class scholar in this field. Professor Roberts is also the leader of the Global History of Health Project, mainly responsible for the research of health and paleopathology in Europe. She is the author of hundreds of influential works such as "The Archaeology of Diseases".
