Brief Introduction:
Director of the Institute of Material and Cultural History of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Historical Science
He was born on 6 August 1974 in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg). In 2001, he graduated from the Department of History, St. Petersburg State University, majoring in archaeology. Studied under the distinguished archaeologist Vajetskaya. He is mainly engaged in bronze to early Iron Age archaeological research in southern Siberia. He has extensive fieldwork in the Russian Plain, the Yenisei River basin, southern Siberia, Mongolia and the Caucasus. At present, he has published four monographs and more than 100 academic articles. He is a leading expert on the chronology and culturalization of ancient metal remains in the Minushinsk Basin.
